My background is mostly in marketing. I began working with companies to help them design more effective websites and marketing materials, but soon found myself behind the camera contributing to their layouts and working side by side with their graphic designers. I was inspired to start my own business focusing on macro photography (close-up) and portraiture. 

Ansel Adams was a huge inspiration as well as the many talented photographers at National Geographic. I am continually inspired by the beauty found in nature. Truly awe inspiring images are all around us if we simply take a moment to appreciate them. My favorite aspect of photography is taking an ordinary image and processing it in a way that it becomes extraordinary and creates a real WOW factor. 

When I am not behind the camera, I am passionate about mastering new recipes. Kayaking is always on the to-do-list as well as sailing. I am happiest when I am outdoors enjoying the fresh air and sunshine with my camera at my hip.
